Shipping and Delivery
The majority of all products will ship LTL freight. This requires that the items be palletized and shipped via semi-truck. This type of delivery also requires an inspection and signature at the time of delivery.
Once the shipment reaches the shipping hub nearest the destination the freight company will call to set up a delivery appointment. Upon receipt of the delivery it is the responsibility of the person signing for the products to inspect them carefully and fully. A complete and through inspection is important as this process is a transfer of liability between the recipient and the company providing the transport and delivery of the product .
Any items that ship standard small parcel (UPS, FedEx etc.) will not require a signature.
Product Availability
Product availability can vary greatly due to order configuration and time of year. If all products are in stock they will generally ship the next business day. Once you have placed an order, if there are any items that are not available, we will contact you with all of the necessary information regarding that product(s) availability.

What is a Vent-Free or Ventless fireplace product?
Vent-free gas heating products are available in many designs for varied applications, personal tastes, and price points. When installed, they are fixed (not portable) installations fueled by either natural or propane gas, determined by the primary heating fuel of the home. They require no venting to bring outside air into the unit. This provides an ease of installation not available in vented units. They are available in many heat outputs (6,000-40,000 Btu/hr) and are used as
supplemental heat in conjunction with the primary heat source of the home, i.e., the central heating system/furnace.
What are the safety features built into Vent-Free or Ventless products?
All U.S. gas code groups and 49 states allow the sale and installation of vent-free appliances. Every vent-free gas product sold in the U.S. is equipped with a precision-engineered Oxygen Detection Safety-Pilot (ODS), which automatically shuts off the gas supply if the oxygen level in the room approaches a defined minimum set by American National Standard (ANSI) Z21.11.2.
Because of this and other vent-free safety features, there is no need to open a window to ventilate a vent-free gas heating appliance.
Can I install a Vent-Free or Ventless fireplace product in my home?
We have provided a state by state list of he most current regulations. Please note that this list is for reference purposes only, and it is the customers responsibility to find out at your local level who has jurisdiction and what is allowed in your immediate area.
State by State Vent Free Regulations Are there any issues with excess humidity when using Vent-Free or Ventless products?
During the last five years increasing attention has been drawn to the general environmental issue of sustained high humidity/moisture from many sources and the potential negative outcome of mold growth. Some parties began asking whether vent-free gas heating products generate enough water vapor to raise indoor relative humidity levels high enough to foster mold growth.
A research study (risksciences,LLC) concluded that, “for the vast majority of homes in the U.S. (99%), vent-free gas heating products DO NOT generate enough water vapor to raise indoor humidity levels high enough to foster mold growth."
Furthermore, the findings indicated that greater emphasis should be placed on other factors that can cause humidity levels to exceed mold formation thresholds such as aging homes, outdated construction, poorly sealed or leaky windows, wall insulation, insufficient ventilation and maintenance of air conditioning systems. However, if a home is showing any signs of excess moisture, a vent-free gas heating product should not be installed until the excess moisture problems are eliminated.
Are there any issues with installations at altitude when using Vent-Free or Ventless products?
The ODS, oxygen detection safety pilot, by design is sensitive to fluctuations in oxygen supply, and is required to automatically activate the automatic gas valve to shut off the unit should the oxygen level drop to a safe level of 18% from an optimal level of 21%. Oxygen content is reduced at “higher altitudes” and therefore the ODS safety pilot is more likely to activate as altitude increases, potentially creating a nuisance outage problem, but never a safety hazard as it is “failing in the safe mode."
While 4500 feet remains the recommended maximum elevation for general consumer installation, many manufacturers have determined that this recommendation is extremely conservative vs. “real world” experience by consumers. As a result, many vent-free gas products are offered for sale in higher elevation areas with the understanding that most applications will not experience nuisance outage to the extent that the consumer wants to remove the installation.
